Pacific Nautilus is an organizations dedicated increasing participation of high school, community college, university and historically underrepresented students. We specifically encourage undergraduate STEM based research with an emphasis on autonomous systems and engineering service projects. Our mission is to improve our member’s access to cutting edge knowledge and experience to meet the challenges ahead of us.

Pacific Nautilus provides students with first-hand experience on real-world engineering problems. Our goal is to apply our knowledge in the sciences to produce solutions in a professional setting by producing a fully functional AUV (autonomous unmanned vehicle) to compete in the annual AUVSI and ONR competitions and become better global citizens by providing quality engineering services to communities in developing nations.

Furthermore, we wish to improve on creative and innovative ideas to make the UAV a better vessel for future competitions and impacting our global community.

President Obama points out that our future depends on what happens in contests and competitions like Robosub, in the pursuit of engineering project talents are discover and passions are lit and future scientists and engineers, scientists, inventors and entrepreneurs are born.
